Fuel Placards are based on the GAMA "Specification for Decal to Minimize the Misfueling
of General Aviation Aircraft." This specification defines colors for each type of fuel.
Grade 80 Avgas - Red
Grade 100 Avgas - Green
Grade 100LL Avgas - Blue
Jet Fuel - Black
The allowed grades of fuel and the text on the placard are based on the type of aircraft.
Examples of text are:
"MAIN TANK 44.0 US GALS"
"AUX TANK 22.5 US GALS"
"MAX. CAP. 20.0 US GAL"
"(USABLE FUEL 19.2)"
We will use the information entered into the FuelSystemText field above to generate a placard for your model.
Each model of aircraft may have text unique to that model. For example, most Beech models also say
WITH WINGS LEVEL.
